Martha Auspitz - Maine Coon Breed Council Secretary

My husband, Norman, and I got our first Maine Coon in 1993.  She was a brown patched tabby and white named, GC Buctales Dancing Colors of Abizaq. We fell in love with the Maine Coon breed and have continued to work with them since. In Dancing Colors’ first litter she produced 3 kittens, one which we kept - GC, RW Abizaq Maine Attraction.  Matt, a brown tabby and white male, pictured below. He became the love of our life. As luck would have it, he was both a one show grand in Championship and Premiership. GC, RW Abizaq Maine Attraction

Since the 1990’s we have continued to breed and show Maine Coons, getting both Regional and National Wins.  Our first National Winning Maine Coon was a son of Maine Attraction. GC, NW Kamelotkoons Mattlock of Abizaq, was co-owned by P & D Dillingham and M & N Auspitz.

Norman and I have bred Abyssinians for over 30 years and have also produced many Regional and National Winners as well as 5 Distinguished Merits. We are members of the Abyssinian and Maine Coon Breed Councils.

I am very excited to be your new Breed Council Secretary. We will continue to have 2 breed council meetings per year, honor the Top Maine Coons in CFA, and have the Breed Booth and the International Show.  I have formed committees to help me get input from all of you.  I hope this will let each of you get involved in an area of your choice for the betterment of our Maine Coon Breed.
